Mentoring and Apprenticeship
A Tribute to Former Employees
Andrea qualified Bedford Orthotics as a teaching clinic offering clinical apprenticeships. Over the years since 1998 we have mentored 6 candidate pedorthists to train as an apprentice for a minimum 3,500 hours in the areas of clinical practice, footwear (fit and modification), and the fabrication of custom orthoses. The exam to become a Canadian Certified Pedorthist is administered by The College of Pedorthics of Canada.
Bedford Orthotics has been honoured to be part of these successes as all 6 candidates passed their exams and eventually moved on to establish their own unique ways to help relieve foot and related pain. Thanks for being part of our Happy Feet Team. You will be missed.
